Find us at Waterside Holiday Park, Bowleaze Cove, Dorset.
Howdy!
Based at Waterside Holiday Park at Bowleaze Cove we enjoy an awesome paddling area that is consistently flat, scenic and safe.
We have a range of paddle boards, kayaks and pedalos as well as wetsuits to hire should you require them. Our team are passionate about water sports and always happy to give advice and guidance.
We are a drop-in rental centre, and so there is no need to pre-book. Just come on down whenever suits you and we will help you get out on the water.

On the beach
During June we are open at weekends from 11am until 5pm with last gear going out at 4pm. During July and August we are open everyday from 10am until 5pm with last gear going out at 4pm.
This is weather dependent and can vary dependent on conditions. Occasionally conditions mean we have to close early or not open and if it is a gorgeous day sometimes we will stay open longer.
Regular updates on conditions and our status are made on our social media sites.
Pack your bag
You are welcome to bring your own wetsuit should you have one or alternatively rent one of ours.
We strongly recommend that beach shoes of some kind are worn to protect feet in the shallows.
On cooler days make sure you have plenty of warm clothes for after your session. On hotter days bring plenty of water and sunscreen.
Safety first!
Bowleaze Cove is a beautiful and safe spot. Our hire is unsupervised and so you must be prepared to look after yourselves whilst afloat. However we do have a small safety boat ready to step in if required. Under 14s must be supervised by a responsible adult from the water or beach.
All our single paddle boards come with leashes fitted and these are compulsory to wear. We have buoyancy aids available for all equipment if required, however they are compulsory for kayaking and the mega paddle board.
Our paddling area is set to make the most of the prevailing conditions and keep everyone safe. We will explain the outer limits during your brief and we do ask everyone to keep to these limits.
How to find us
Our paddling area is directly in front of Waterside Holiday Park and so friends and family can enjoy a drink or spot of lunch on the waterfront whilst you get afloat.
Parking is available in the large carpark on the waterfront at Bowleaze Cove or curb side on the road approaching the Cove. From here walk along the road until you come to the Waterside entrance on the beach side and follow the path through to the waterfront. You will see us here with a large trailer and kit spread out on the grass in front of it.
If you’re using what3words, we can be found here (flames.activates.stripped).
On particularly sunny days during peak season Waterside limit visitors to the facilities. However just let security know you are here for the paddle boarding or kayaking and they will let you through.
